Ten Years After are a British blues rock band, most popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Between 1968 and 1973, Ten Years After scored eight Top 40 albums on the UK Albums Chart. In addition they had twelve albums enter the US Billboard 200, and are best known for tracks such as "I'm Going Home", "Hear Me Calling", "I'd Love to Change the World" and "Love Like a Man". Their musical style consisted of blues rock and hard rock.
Ten Years After is the debut album by the English blues rock band Ten Years After. It was one of the first blues rock albums released by British musicians. The album is also low on original material in comparison to the band's later works which were, in most cases, entirely composed of Alvin Lee's songs. It features "Spoonful", a Howlin' Wolf song (written for him by Willie Dixon) that the British blues rock group Cream covered as well (on their albums Fresh Cream and Wheels of Fire).

Experience rock history! TEN YEARS AFTER – STONEDHENGE – February 22, 1969 – Deram Des 18021 plus a Mini-Mindblower: TYA & 2001: A Space Odyssey! The day after 00individual turned eighteen Ten Years After released the album Stonedhenge. The overtly clever album’s title acknowledged the band’s endorsement and certainly their fans approval. Stonedhenge was one of those direct hits at a time when music really shaped the environment.
The first UK top ten album by Ten Years After charted on 22 February 1969, with a title that captured the mood of the times: Stonedhenge. Where Undead had peaked at No. 26 in the UK in September 1968, Ten Years After’s ever-rising reputation saw Stonedhenge crash into the chart at No. 6, as Diana Ross & the Supremes Join The Temptations continued at No. 1. The TYA album spent three consecutive weeks at No. 6, charting in America on the same day and reaching No. 61 there, as their stock continued to rise. Six months later, they went even higher in the UK chart, to No. 4, with Sssh, then repeated that feat only another seven months on with Cricklewood Green. Stonedhenge can be bought here.
