The Jukebox Romantics hail from the Hudson Valley, NY area just outside NYC. Since releasing their debut album on Altercation Records in 2009, The Jukebox Roma. ntics have taken their talked-about live show from coast to coast including multiple appearances at Austin’s SXSW festival, Vans Warped Tour (2010 & 2012), Gainesville’s Fest 9 & 16, Upstart Fest and many more. JBR completed their first European Tour in April of 2017, which included dates in Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Czech Republic. JBR released their 7 inch Plot Points & LP Transmissions Down in September 2015 via Jailhouse Records. Early 2016 brought the boys back into the studio, this time with John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, Polar Bear Club, The Ataris) producing. In 2015 The Jukebox Romantics came into their own with Transmissions Down. The proverbial charmed third attempt definitely did not sidestep these guys. The whole album was energetic and fun, while also seeing a welcome maturity in the writing (even if the song titles themselves still sounded like rejected Less Than Jake C-sides).
