About Christina Antipa. First trained as an oboist in a family of artists, Christina Antipa had been singing and writing songs since her early teens. A native to the West Coast, she now lives in Portland, Oregon, though it was in Arcata, California that she recorded what would become her debut album: Goodbye Different Oceans. Masterfully written and minimally arranged, the tracks reveal a voice that is both weary and sharp, intelligent and kind
