Roger Waters: The Wall is a live album by Roger Waters, a member of Pink Floyd. It is a live recording of Pink Floyd's 1979 rock opera The Wall. The album was released in a 2-CD format, as well as a 3-LP format. All lyrics by Roger Waters. Disc one. Disc two. Disc three. Roger Waters : Vocals, guitar, bass. Snowy White : Guitar. David Kilminster : Guitar, bass on "Mother". Robbie Wyckoff : Vocals. George Edward Smith : Guitar, bass. Jon Carin : Keyboards, guitar. Harry Waters : Piano, harmonium.

Roger Waters's primary instrument is the electric bass guitar. He briefly played a Höfner bass but replaced it with a Rickenbacker RM-1999/4001S, until around 1970 when he switched to Fender Precision basses. He often plays bass using a pick but is also known to play fingerstyle. Not only a bassist and vocalist, Waters has experimented with the EMS Synthi A and VCS 3 synthesisers and has played electric rhythm and acoustic guitars in recordings and in concert.

A new documentary, "Roger Waters The Wall," charts the story of the landmark recording and that of its key creator. The concept for the stage show of "The Wall" from 1979 draws on Waters' own life. It tells of the loneliness of a rock singer, struggling to deal with the death of his father. The work is largely biographical as Waters' own father died in World War II. The bestselling double album of all time, it's also widely considered the band's last great work. Breaking down walls: Pink Floyd's story comes to cinemas. While working on "The Wall," the first major cracks began to appear between band members.

Directed by Sean Evans, Roger Waters. With Roger Waters, Dave Kilminster, Snowy White, . Details one of the most elaborately staged theatrical productions in music history as Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters performs the band's critically acclaimed album The Wall in its entirety. Directors: Sean Evans, Roger Waters.
