All American Boy is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Steve Grand. It was released on March 23, 2015 independently by his imprint Grand Nation Music and was disseminated through Brody Distribution Group via Sony RED Distribution. The album's tracks feature genres spanning from mostly country to pop music, as well as rock music. In the making of the album, Grand took his musical influences such as Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, and Sum 41 onto the album.

People keeping an eye on the future of the music industry may already be well aware of Steve Grand, the first country singer to begin his career out of the closet. He made news in 2013 after his buzzy video for "All American Boy" went viral, and his album of the same name was funded through Kickstarter in what became the third-most funded music project on Kickstarter at the time. "I've been waiting to release this album to my fans for so long!" Grand tells Billboard

Steve Grand is billed (by some) as the first openly gay male country musician to attract mainstream attention in the United States. Furthermore he is not the first, there are already a decent number of mainstream or at least well known gay country artists out there. What is unquestionably impressive is that he is releasing his debut album titled All American Boy financed by a ‘Kickstarter’ funding campaign under his own label.

For singer-songwriter Steve Grand, who performs an intimate set at the East Village’s SubCulture on Valentine’s Day, the past year and a half has been a whirlwind. After the video for his highly infectious country-tinged pop song All-American Boy went viral, Grand’s doe-eyed mug was plastered across seemingly every gay blog, which quickly led to mainstream attention, from an appearance on Good Morning America to inclusion in the annual Out 100 list of LGBT movers and shakers. That’s all pretty impressive for a 24-year-old with no record deal and only one song to promote

All American Boy. Steve Grand.

After Steve Grand's performance on Valentine's Day we got the opportunity to sit down and chat/gossip/ask him some questions! We may or may not have derailed and talked about McDonald's for a while.
