Although Andy Votel may frequent the same shops as Marc Mac from 4hero, the music they represent is far different. I've written before about Andy Votel's mixes. He has four to date before this; Three where he mixes pshyc, funk and rock, all treasures burried quite deep before he dug them up and gave them to us. On the fourth, he mixes a large houseload of music from the heyday of Vertigo records. Here, the professor turns his sights to Topicallia, rock influenced music made in South America in the late 60s/early 70s. This is all the more fascinating, considered that a lot of this was made under harsh dictatorships, back when rock was truely a subversive beast.
