Eduardo Verástegui is the self-titled solo album of Eduardo Verástegui recorded in Miami, Florida after he split up with the Mexican boy band, vocal band Kairo made up of Jean Paul Forat Morales and Francisco Carlos Zorrilla González. Verástegui had already two albums successful albums with Kairo: Signo del tiempo in 1994 and Gaudium in 1995 and compilation albums Cara a cara in 1996 (jointly with Magneto and Éxitos in 1997.

Eduardo Verástegui (born as José Eduardo Verástegui Córdoba May 21, 1974) is a Mexican actor, singer and model. Born in Xicotencatl, Tamaulipas, México, Verástegui was studying law but decided to pursue modeling in Mexico City and ended up working for such famous designers as Calvin Klein and Versace. Soon after, in 1994, he became a member of the Mexican pop group, Kairo. Throughout a four-year tour, Kairo played sold out concerts throughout Latin America. In 1997, Verástegui began acting in Mexican soap operas produced by powerhouse production company, Televisa.
Eduardo Verástegui was born on May 21, 1974 in Mante, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He is an actor, producer, businessman and philanthropist. In 2004, he started the production company Metanoia Films, with the goal of producing films that had the potential to not only entertain but also to make a difference in society.
