Studio album by Boys Noize. Out of the Black is the third studio album by the electronic dance music artist Boys Noize. It was released in October 16, 2012 under INgrooves Records.

For his third album, Boys Noize goes OUT OF THE BLACK and into. a poppier direction? Slightly. The opener, "What You Want" stays with the electro vibe as with his earlier work, though a touch slowed down, while "XTC" feels somewhat wan. Even with Gonzales on the keys fot "Ich R U" or the black metal guitar grind on "Rocky 2," things seem taken down an unfortunate notch or two. His dips his toe into a grimy hip-hop direction with "Circus Full Of Clowns" and "Got It," but only the latter is worth noting  . I like Boys Noize for his crazyness and extravagant sounds and effects. Something hard, distorted, funny and moving at the same time. But this third album is very different from the two first. A lot less crazy, a lot more repetitive and obvious. There's even some "Daft Punk spirit" in one or two tracks. Out Of The Black is a departure from almost anything we’ve seen from him before, but at the same time contains many of the familiar elements that has gained him thousands of fans. Probably the most talked about track on the album is the collaboration with Snoop Dogg titled Got It. Snoop delivers a classic verse over an electro meets hip hop instrumental and the result is as good as you would expect from two artists of this caliber Rocky 2 stands out as the heaviest track on the album, and is very different compared to anything from his previous full-length. Conchord, the collaboration with Siriusmo, is a venture back into the classic Boys Noize sound. The techno influenced Conchord is masterfully produced, and satisfies any doubts that he had abandoned his old sound. Both Boys Noize and Siriusmo shine here as it is the style both know best.
