Years ago, before The Rag Trade was The Rag Trade, four of the members played in a band called Anchorites Ball. Here's one of Eelke's finest songs from that. 30 July 2015 ·. So, we're slowly approaching August 14. Our last show. Living towards the end, we started looking back over the past years. Going through some old recordings we found a video from May 2009 of Anchorites Ball, what later would be The Rag Trade, playing one of the first songs Eelke wrote for the band. The last few years we've worked hard, releasing an album that we're very proud of and having lots of fun, but we've grown apart. We have come to a point where it's better to let each other go and grow. We would like to thank CaneGooseRecords (Johan and Edward), for the love they put into their work releasing and promoting our album.
