Notes

air traffic - the most inviting song on here, sets a kind of happy tone that gets subverted by the following tracks. can't let go of my love for juicy synth sounds. this was the first song we wrote for the EP.
gets the rundown - probably my personal fav here, it's so wacky, sam plays it all the time, you put sam in a room with me and a drumset and he plays gets the rundown but 10 times faster. he wrote all the drum parts here. I supplied the oily intro chords and demonic sounds in the middle.
broken elevator network - definitely aimed for something cinematic, I tried to really bring out those highs and lows, make it all sound like a hectic city of sorts. VERY difficult to play on drums.
32 degrees - we knew from the start we were gonna aim high in terms of volume and aggression on this one. the name came from the idea that this is what plays when you're freezing to death and have no escape, and you just gotta brace it all really hard and throw out your soul
we'd like to give big thanks to JACKSON SCOGGINS for getting this vinyl release things happening and also for being extremely supportive towards our art.
we'd also like to thank JUSTIN WEED and GUNNAR OZUNA for playing guitar on this EP, and MICHAEL BRIGGS for mastering this EP. They have also been hugely supportive towards Sympathy Wizard and we're super appreciative.
Stay in touchg and we'll be releasing plenty more music. Currently working on a surreal dream-like album, lots of frequency experimentation, stuff like that. We hope to make you all happy with our art.
