John Watts is a British musician and multimedia artist. He was born into a family of singers on 27 December 1954 in Frimley, Surrey. Watts began his career as a mental health worker having studied clinical psychology before finding success as a musician with his band Fischer-Z. He currently lives and works in Brighton, UK. Having played the punk and new wave circuit through the early 1970s, Watts formed the band Fischer-Z with Steve Skolnik at Brunel University in 1976.

Watts is at his sharpest on this album recorded at Real World and featuring members of The Flat Earth Society. As the front man and songwriter for Fisher-Z John Watts was responsible for over 2 Million record sales. Since that time he has recorded many solo albums, raised children, painted pictures and made films all of which became the inspiration and foundation for the album More Than Music. More Than Music was released in October 2010 in mainland Europe.
