Only for completionists (1%). After listening to this album of the band TRIANA, I've got to correct my assumption, that EL PATIO was their best effort. I really like HIJOS DEL AGOBIO more than that one, maybe because the flamenco influence is a bit less obvious. Still it's in some way difficult for me to cope with DeLaRosas passoniate vocals, but disregarding this it contains more features that sound interesting for my taste.

album "Hijos De Agobio" TRIANA started to attract a following, sold more albums and created a more complex sound than on the debut. HIJOS DEL AGOBIO doesn't have the instant impact that the debut "El Patio" may have had upon first listen but this one is actually the more sophisticated album of the two as the band learned how to craft their hybridization into cleverer territories

It sounded quite well, and it sold quite more than their first effort. The album features the band moving forward to a more personal sound, losing some of the complexity in the way ("El Patio" featured 3 songs over the four minute mark, while the longest songs here barely last 5 minutes)

In 1977, Triana released their second album, Hijos del agobio. This album was a bigger commercial success than their debut and was notable for its lyrics which reflected the tense and unstable nature of Spain's political climate at the time. Their third album, Sombra y luz, was released in 1979. Their most experimental album to date, Sombra y luz contained elements of jazz and was certified platinum by the AFYVE. In 1980, Triana released their fourth album, Un encuentro. A commercial success, the album demonstrated a much more commercial and pop rock-influenced sound. In 1985, Rodway and Tele returned to the studio to create a final Triana album, taking vocal passages de la Rosa Luque recorded before his death and adding instrumentation. The resulting album, Tengo que marchar, was released in 1986. Second lineup (1994-2002).
