The annual Israeli Accordion Festival was held recently in the amphitheater of Nahalal, an agricultural settlement in the valley of Yizrael during Days of milk and honey. The event is dedicated to the memory of Yehuda Oppenheimer, who owns the title of The Prophet of the Accordion in Israel. Over 3,000 people gathered from all over the country to listen to talented Israeli and well known accordion players play a variety of classical, Balkan, French, Piazzolla and Israeli music.
