Blood Money is the 13th studio album by Tom Waits, released in 2002 on the ANTI- label. The album contains songs written for the musical Woyzeck, based on the play of the same name by Georg Büchner. The theatrical adaptation was directed by Robert Wilson, with whom Waits had worked on two previous plays: The Black Rider and Alice, both of which resulted in soundtrack albums. The latter was released simultaneously in 2002 with Blood Money

Dope‘s new album Blood Money Part 1 did resoundingly well during its first week on sale. The album sold over 15,000 copies (it was not specified how much was attributed to streaming,) netting them on the Billboard Top 200. It’s a huge improvement over their previous release, 2009’s No Regrets, which only moved 6,200 copies during its first week on sale and landed at on the same chart.

Dope released their long-awaited full-length album ‘ Blood Money Part I ‘ on October 28th. In celebration, the band released a lyric video for ‘1999’ (track off the new album). Like most of their songs, ‘1999’ digs in deep and heavy off the bat with no fear of confrontation; both lyrically and musically.

I fixed the off centre issue and wet cleaned the record using an enzyme based cleaner and followed up with a full 5 minutes of ultrasonic cleaning and 4 minutes drying. I am playing it now and I am astonished, it plays like a Japan pressing! Wonderful. I am really impressed with what us cleaning does for . vinyl, more than any other country’s vinyl. My copy has a very high gloss finish and really looks the part but today’s cleaning session has really brought out.
