Description

More Elton John albums.

1998 Выходит диск с записью музыки к мюзиклу Аида (Elaborate Lives: The Legend of Aida), над которым он работал встесте с Тимом Райсом.

2011 Практически весь 2011 год находился в крупном сольном гастрольном турне Greatest Hits Live, которое стало девятым в списке Двадцать пять лучших.

Songs from the West Coast is the twenty-sixth studio album by British singer-songwriter Elton John, released worldwide on 1 October 2001. Many critics have said that this album brought him back to his piano-based musical roots. Elton once again collaborated with long-time lyricist Bernie Taupin. Drummer Nigel Olsson returns to the band full-time. Tata Vega makes an early appearance as a backup vocalist and joined the EJ band later

The result was "Songs From The West Coast," an album that recalled and recaptured the magic of his best work from the 1970s'. The back to the basics approach brought to the album is evident from the first track, "The Emperor's New Clothes  . Wow, who'd have thought it possible for Elton John and Bernie Taupin to revitalize themselves? They do it quite well on "Songs From The West Coast". I have to say that this is probably Elton and Bernie's best work together since, dare I say, "Blue Moves"? Maybe that's not fair, how about "The One".
