Three Times Dope was ahead of their time. Their first album Original Stylin' was a great record with songs like "Greatest Man Alive" and "Funky Dividends" which were both great singles. Their second album Live !!! From Ackniculous Land, for me, was one of the best albums I had heard at that time. The production was impeccable with crisp high hats and the kind of bass that instantly grabs your attention if you have a good system. I got their third album, which was released in 1998, Sequel 3 in 2001 or 2002. I didn't even know it was out. It was a far cry from 1990 and it was not up to the level of excellence that should be expected from a group with this much talent. Live !!! From Ackniculous Land is a classic hip-hop record. Believe it or not, it sounds as good today in 2007 as it did in 1990.
