Connie Isabelle Kaldor, CM (born 9 May 1953) is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter. She is the recipient of three Juno awards. Kaldor was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. She graduated from Campbell Collegiate in Regina in 1972 and the University of Alberta in 1976 with a BFA degree in theatre. Kaldor performed with various theatre groups, including Theatre Passe Muraille, The Mummers and 25th Street House Theatre, until 1979, when she gave it up to start a full-time music career
The side-splitting humor of this Canadian singer's live act is absent from her studio albums. All you get are heartfelt tales of common life delivered warmly and sincerely. How could anyone with a heart possibly resist "Prairie Moon" and "I Love That Dog," the final two tracks on the album? The veteran singer/songwriter is a fine representative for the plainspoken rural folk of the Canadian prairies, where she was raised. 1 Someday Connie Kaldor 4:21.

On her 1996 album, Small Cafe, produced by her husband Paul Campagne of Hart-Rouge, she reflects on the memory of a dead friend ("Down to a River") and examines the effects of child abuse ("He's Running in His Sleep"). The daughter of a Lutheran church choir director, Kaldor was influenced by the music of the Beatles, Laura Nyro, Carole King, and Joni Mitchell. Kaldor's first album of children's songs, Lullaby Berceuse, released in 1988, was the recipient of Juno and Parent's Choice awards. She has since won two additional Junos for Best Children's Album in 2004 and 2005. Kaldor's other albums on Coyote have included Gentle of Heart (1989), Wood River (1992), Out of the Blue (1994), Love Is a Truck (2000), Vinyl Songbook and Sky with Nothing to Get in the Way (both 2005), and Postcards from the Road (2009).
