Candido’s Dancin’ and Prancin’ was released in 1979 on Salsoul Records at the dizzying peak of the Disco craze. There are only four songs on the album, aimed squarely at the Discos and their glittering lights. It was a normal musical industry custom circa 1979 for Disco albums to have no more then 4 songs, released in their full length album versions. Dancin’ and Prancin’ delivers four breathtaking Dance classics, all of which found a home in Discos and clubs across the world, particularly in New York and Philadelphia. Thousand Finger Man and Jingo are presented here in their very rare 12 Versions as well as in their Single Mixes, in addition to their original full length album versions. Jingo is also presented here in an alternate single mix and in its instrumental version. The album’s colorful original album cover art front and back is preserved as well.
