Two years after Stará Vlna, Jan Hruby released Mezidobí, an intimate solo album. The violinist takes care of all keyboards and programming and is only supported by Pavel Puta's acoustic guitar. About half of the pieces are instrumentals. The other ones feature a revolving cast of singers. Josef Klíma appears on the highest number of tracks, followed by Vladimír Misík, Michal Prokop, and Jana Lewitová. The latter interprets two touching ballads (in English), one of them an ode to George Harrison, then recently deceased
In 2011 the band without Vladimír Mišík recorded and released collaboration album with Vladimír Merta called Ponorná řeka. Framus Five is a rock band from Czechoslovakia. The Band was founded in Prague in 1963. The line up included singer Michal Prokop, guitarist Luboš Andršt and violinist Jan Hrubý. The band was disbanded in 1971. In 1978 was reunited under the name Framus 5.

Jan Hrubý (born 3 December 1948, Prague, Czeschoslovakia) is a Czech rock violinist. Between 1964-1968 he studied violin at the Prague Conservatory. From 1983 he played with Luboš Andršt's Blues Band. In 1984 he joined the Michael Prokop's Framus 5 and significantly influenced the album Kolej Yesterday. He was also member of Čunderground and recorded with Jazz Q, Marsyas, C&K Vocal, Hana Hegerová and many others
Jana Lewitová is czech singerin, composer and music artist. She created a few significant music project, focused on jewish folklore music (especially sephardic - singed in spain or czech). But she also cooperate with a lot of music projects like singerin, violinist or flute player. Well known is hers and Vladimír Merta's album "Songs of the night and loneliness" which is sephardic inspiration, very acoustic and dramatic record, emotive. Played on viola, cello, guitar and classic (nylon strunged) guitar.
