The albums McCoy produced for Faith, Hope & Charity invariably became elaborate demonstration discs. McCoy would often release the songs by Faith, Hope & Charity first, then record them later with better-known artists. The elastic, harmonica-driven "You're My Peace of Mind" is highly contagious, but didn't do much for Faith, Hope & Charity; McCoy later recorded a more successful version by David Ruffin. Life Goes On," the title track, is moody; it did well on the R&B chart but, like much of the LP, isn't very moving

Faith Hope and Charity was the name of a vocal group from Tampa, Florida. They are best known for their 1975 hit, "To Each His Own". They were also an in-demand group of session singers in New York studios during the 1970s. Founding members of the group were Zulema Cusseaux, Brenda Hilliard and Al Bailey.

Faith Hope & Charity was a short lived British group that featured Dani Behr, Sally Ann Marsh and Diana Barrand. They released two singles and an album. They had a minor hit with their debut single "'Battle Of The Sexes" which peaked at on the UK Singles Chart in 1990. Failing to become successful the band broke up and Behr went into television production.
