A fairly lyrical set with an occasional stomp (most notably "'Deed I Do" and "Au Privave") for variety, this Concord date features the excellent mainstream pianist John Bunch, bassist Phil Flanigan, and drummer Chuck Riggs. Although few surprises occur, the ten standards all benefit from the treatments given by the excellent musicians.
