1 May 2007 "Strings and Wires" mini-LP was released on Drifting Falling Records which saw Scott relocate Televise out of London to Cambridgeshire and begin to operate without the musicians that recorded with him on the debut album. This recording threw Scott into electronic and ambient textured sounds that the British music compared to Fennesz, Tim Hecker and other modern electronic pioneers

Televise settles down almost immediately after "Strangler"; "Monument" still shows traces of the first track's unresolved anger, but by "Astral", it has dissipated entirely. A numbing chill sets in as the gloomy, weathered beauty of this album begins to come to the fore. Valle's voice chokes and cracks breathlessly just above the mix; cymbal washes slowly tranquilize the listener. This is undeniably what Calla does best, but to a certain extent, the neural anesthesia becomes stultifying

Televise is the solo project of Simon Scott. The ex-Slowdive drummer formed Televise in 2003 creating ambient/electronic soundscapes.
