Janos Varga Project's latest double concert CD titled With heart and soul is out now. The material has been recorded during Janos Varga's 60th birthday concert at MOM cultural center. The specialty of the CDs is that this is the first release of the Janos Varga Project together with Luca Kézdy and the Sturcz Quartet. Janos Varga Project is a project established by who else, Janos Varga, the talented guitarist of Hungarian Prog legends East. In late-90's, while East were put somewhat on ice, Varga decided to form his own band with bandmate Istvan Kiraly on drums, along with keyboardist Zoltan Lengyel from After Crying. The trio recorded their debut ''The Wings of Revelation. I'' at the Zafir Studios and released it in 2000 on Periferic Records

Janos Varga (Hungarian spelling Varga János) was the former guitarist and star in the popular and early-strong Hungarian progressive rock band East, Janos Varga has extended his career to solo scales, through projects, collaborations and adventurous guest entries, all which should, mostly, be familiar to fans of his music and stature, plus worthwhile to discover for any rock collector.
