Blast is the debut solo album by the British musician Holly Johnson of Frankie Goes to Hollywood. It was released in 1989 and reached No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart and sold over 300,000 copies making it platinum. The album stayed on the charts for 17 weeks. The album features the hits "Love Train", "Americanos", "Atomic City" and "Heavens Here". The album was re-released in November 2009 and again in November 2010.

Full Blast is the ninth release (eighth studio album and tenth record overall) by rapper, MC Hammer. The album was recorded in 2003 and released in early 2004 for the Full Blast Digital Music Group and was produced by Hammer himself. In spite of this album’s generally simpler and shorter approach to songwriting, it ultimately functions more as a proper death/thrash affair rather than an outright crossover album with death metal elements in spite of itself. Though there are only a few songs on here that manage to meet or break the 3-minute mark, there is a pretty clear dominance of traditional early 90s elements at play here in the riff department that dovetails pretty closely with Reifert and company’s other projects.
