Guitar – Paco De Lucía, Ramón De Algeciras (tracks: 4, 8 to 11). Vocals – Camarón De La Isla. Written-By – Antonio Sánchez Pecino. Originally released in 1975.
Camaron de la Isla was one of the greatest flamenco artists ever and on this disc he is accompanied by the the great Paco de Lucia so this album is a true classic. One person found this helpful. They started recording together in 1969, when Paco was barely into his twenties and Camarón even younger; the collaboration revolutionised both their chosen fields, and changed the course of Flamenco forever. Unbelievably, their first five records together were ALL excitingly entitled "El Camarón de la Isla con la colaboración especial de Paco de Lucía". For this reason, they are known to aficonados by the titles of their opening tracks, as follows: 1969 Al verte las flores lloran 1970 Cada vez que nos miramos 1971 Son tus ojos dos estrellas 1972 Canastera 1973 Caminito de Totana.
His uncle José nicknamed him Camarón (Spanish for "Shrimp") because he was blonde haired and fair skinned. At fourteen he appeared in the film "El Amor Brujo" with Antonio Gades.

The second album of Camaron de la Isla, with the special collaboration of Paco de Lucia, was released at the start of the new decade. The graphic design of the first album was maintained, with photos of both of them and similar headings, but in this one Perez de Leуn went even further and placed the pair face to face in a position similar to the Mountain of Olives, complete with cross and an apocalyptic horizon in red tones. The yellowed faces of the performers made them seem as if they had just suffered an attack of severe hepatitis.
