K-HAND (real name Kelli Hand) is a musician and professional DJ from Detroit, Michigan, United States. Born and raised in Detroit, Hand started to work as a DJ in the 1990s. In 1990, she founded her own label, Acacia Records. In the early 1990s, she released first singles and EPs. In 1994, her single, Global Warning, was released on the British label Warp Records. In 1995, her debut album, On A Journey, was released on Studio !K7.
