Flower Power is the fourth studio album by the progressive rock band The Flower Kings, which was released in 1999. It is also their second double-CD and includes the nearly one-hour-long epic composition, "Garden Of Dreams". Roine Stolt - vocals, guitars, keyboards, bass guitar. Tomas Bodin - keyboards. In the early 1950s, he added the initial "H" to avoid confusion with the television entertainer Harry Corbett, known for his act with the glove-puppet Sooty. He joked that "H" stood for "hennyfink" – a Cockney pronunciation of "anything". In 1956, he appeared on stage in The Family Reunion at the Phoenix Theatre in London.
Flower power was a slogan used during the late 1960s and early 1970s as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology. It is rooted in the opposition movement to the Vietnam War. The expression was coined by the American Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in 1965 as a means to transform war protests into peaceful affirmative spectacles.
