Harry H Corbett - Who is he? .

Flower Power is the fourth studio album by the progressive rock band The Flower Kings, which was released in 1999. It is also their second double-CD and includes the nearly one-hour-long epic composition, "Garden Of Dreams". Roine Stolt - vocals, guitars, keyboards, bass guitar. Tomas Bodin - keyboards. Michael Stolt - bass guitar. Jaime Salazar - drums.

In the early 1950s, he added the initial "H" to avoid confusion with the television entertainer Harry Corbett, known for his act with the glove-puppet Sooty. He joked that "H" stood for "hennyfink" – a Cockney pronunciation of "anything". In 1956, he appeared on stage in The Family Reunion at the Phoenix Theatre in London.

Flower power was a slogan used during the late 1960s and early 1970s as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology. It is rooted in the opposition movement to the Vietnam War. The expression was coined by the American Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in 1965 as a means to transform war protests into peaceful affirmative spectacles.

Passion Flower, a tribute album to composer Billy Strayhorn which Hersch produced, arranged, and orchestrated, received universal critical praise upon its release. Elegantly arranged for jazz trio and strings," said the New York Times, the album "exudes an exotic hothouse aroma.

Email I received from Pete Parks regarding this release:If you can imagine Charles Hawtrey with 18 inch auburn hair playing a Telecaster like a demon , then that was me in the early Seventies . Several people commented on the fact . The Flower Power session was a hoot . Mitch was a " hands on producer " and , while Vic Keary was holding the fort in the control room , he was in the studio with us , jumping up and down , pointing at anyone who came up with a good idea, dancing along with a " take " and generally bringing an immense amount of energy to the recording. The session fee never actually got to me , but the lessons learned were used in future , more lucrative recordings . Thank you for jogging my memory about the long slog on my Lambretta , from Mill Hill to The Old Kent Road with my guitar strapped to the back-rest for the Felious Andromeda / U.F.O. sessions . Regards Pete P.S all details are correct on discogs . P.
