The first single off the anticipated follow up, You Can Always Leave, due November 2013, portends the elegant and brooding mood of the ensuing album. Gry Bagøien’s vocals are once again at the fore alongside the heartbreakingly august trumpet of No Regular Play’s Greg Paulus on what amounts to the only dance floor moment on the album. To support the single and pave the way for the album release, Francis Harris and DJ Sprinkles will embark on a Six city US and EU tour in December 2013 with high profile stops in Brooklyn at Output, during Art Basel in Miami at The Electric Pickle and in London at Fabric before Harris returns to The BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen.

Looking into the background and life of Francis Harris, it’s quite surprising how his music turned out. After all, you wouldn’t really expect a hardcore punk rocker from Vegas to wind up as a DJ for the majority of his career. Yet, somehow, he too managed to fall in love with electronic music, as so many others had before him. And although it may be just dance music to him, it does give off a very thoughtful and intelligent vibe. Just two years ago, in 2012, he released his debut album, Leland to wide critical praise. With his second full-length album, entitled Minutes of Sleep, Harris delves yet again into the crevices of downtempo house music, and pulls out a worthy successor to his other works. At eleven tracks and over an hour long, Minutes of Sleep isn’t exactly casual listening material.

Sleep is an album by composer Max Richter. Released on September 4, 2015 on Deutsche Grammophon, as a digital download, and on December 11, 2015 as an 8-CD/1-Blu-ray se. the album serves as a concept album based around the neuroscience of sleep, hence its length of over eight hours. Sleep was accompanied by simultaneous release of the one-hour-long album, From Sleep, with seven additional tracks (different variations of tracks from the main album), and later by the remix album Sleep Remixes.
