Biography by Craig Harris. A passion for music and an emotion-tinged vocal quality has made Salvatore Adamo one of the most commercially successful singers in Europe and one of the most famous Italian immigrants living in Belgium.

Salvatore, Knight Adamo Born in Comiso (Sicily) 1 November 1943, lived in Belgium since the age of 3, a singer and composer who has acquired the double Belgian-Italian nationality early 2019 at the age of 73. This Belgian musician and singer of Italian origin is known for his romantic ballads. Adamo grew up from a very early age in Belgium and has made that country his homeland. He first gained popularity throughout Europe and later in the Middle East, Latin America, Japan, and the United States
