1979-1983 was originally released as a double album on vinyl in 1985 and then split into two volumes for release the following year. Together they offer an in-depth introduction to one of the most influential bands of recent times. Volume 2 pulls together many of Bauhaus' best moments from its later career into one release. More Mask numbers crop up here - two funk-heavy groovers (In Fear of Fear and Kick in the Eye), counterpointed by the slow, haunting Hollow Hills.
