There is a great deal of angst that follows the lead, Cate and it is hard not to feel sympathetic towards this character. Thankfully, after a rather bumpy road to happiness in love and life, the reader will be pleased with the final result the author delivers for her young heroine. The way their thoughts and feelings were described didnt scratch much beyond the surface, which made this book not much of a page turner for me. I was expecting a little more.
