Sven-Erik Bäck, född 16 september 1919 i Stockholm, död där 10 januari 1994, var en svensk tonsättare, violinist och pedagog. Bäck studerade violin för Charles Barkel, Sven Karpe och komposition för Hilding Rosenberg. Hans elektroniska verk har varit mycket inflytelserika och räknas till de främsta svenska verken inom den genren. Bäck inspirerades mycket av Östen Sjöstrands poesi (Favola, In pricipio) som även låg till grund för kantaten Vid Havets Yttersta Gräns. Sjöstrand skrev också libretto till Bäcks opera Gästabudet. Bäck blev ledamot av Kungliga Musikaliska Akademien 1961.

Sven-Erik Bäck (September 16, 1919, Stockholm – January 10, 1994, Stockholm) was a Swedish composer of classical music. Bäck studied from 1939 until 1943 in the King's Music-Academy and from 1940 until 1945, was a composition student of Hilding Rosenberg. He travelled in 1951 to have further studies with Goffredo Petrassi in Rome. As of 1953 he was the leader of the chamber orchestra of the Swedish Radio Orchestra.
