Complete your Gianni Parrini collection. I advised to stay away from this release. The masterings on short, suck. Track 9 is the worst offender with a lot of pops during the middle section. The other tracks while not horrible in terms of mastering, are mediocrely recorded. I have heard much better masterings from 93 which simply sound better.

I advised to stay away from this release. The masterings on short, suck. Track 9 is the worst offender with a lot of pops during the middle section. The other tracks while not horrible in terms of mastering, are mediocrely recorded. I have heard much better masterings from 90-93 which simply sound better. Not to mention 1996 isn't exactly on the "dark age of CD technology" While the music is good enough to purchase. You can find better value buying Gianni Parrini's 12" releases which will sound a lot better. While there are some exclusive tracks here, the poor mastering makes this relatively rare CD more a money weight if you expect some well recorded trance music, more to the insult that this is one of the very few "Dream Trance" albums since a lot of Italian Dream only was pressed on vinyl and barely made it to CD. Save some ZYX Music CD-Maxi imports and some Dream Trance compilations.
