Looking Back is the seventh album released by John Mayall in August 1969 by Decca Records. The album features songs by both John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and John Mayall solo work. The album reached No. 79 on the Billboard 200. Confusingly, there are two different albums with the title "Looking Back": a Decca UK release as a single album (SKL 5010) and a Decca Germany (issued by TELDEC) release as a double album (DS 3104/1-2). Later issues on CD would use the Deram label.

Take Me Back to Your House" is a song recorded by English electronic music duo Basement Jaxx featuring Martina Sorbara. It was released as the second single from their fourth studio album Crazy Itch Radio by XL Recordings. It reached number 42 in the UK Singles Chart. The Independent described the track as an uptempo banjo house "stomper". Take Me Back To Your House" is better still, a banjo-strewn folk-funk concoction which is surely destined to be remixed with a stomping house beat.

The Beatles had rejected producer Glyn Johns' first attempt at fashioning an album from the Get Back/Let It Be tapes. On this day he put together a second Get Back LP for their consideration, although it too was rejected. Johns worked from 7pm-11. 30pm at Olympic Sound Studios in London, without any of The Beatles being present. His new album omitted Teddy Boy, as it wasn't featured in the Let It Be film, but added George Harrison's I Me Mine and John Lennon's Across The Universe.
