The advent even after Colin left, was all about energy. It was very fast and consisted of layer upon layer upon layer of carefully selected sounds. The tracks were always built in a similar way but never bored you at any point. This album has nothing of that flair, the techno tracks lack energy and sounds lack inspiration

The Advent is a British electronic music act. It was founded in 1993 by Cisco Ferreira and Colin McBean. Soon after leaving school, Ferreira began working as an engineer at Jack Trax Records, a job which enabled him to glimpse first-hand the work of such artists as Derrick May and Marshall Jefferson.
