Walter Rudolf Hess (March 17, 1881 – August 12, 1973) was a Swiss physiologist who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1949 for mapping the areas of the brain involved in the control of internal organs. Hess was born in Frauenfeld as the second of three children to Clemens Hess and Gertrud Hess (née Fischer). His father encouraged him to pursue a scientific career and with him he conducted experiments in his physics laboratory.

Ginny, Ginny" is a song by the British rock band Slade, released in 1979 as the lead single from the band's eighth studio album Return to Base. It was written by lead vocalist Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, and was produced by Slade. The song failed to make an appearance in the UK charts. Having returned to the UK from the United States in 1976, Slade found themselves out-of-favour at the time of the UK's Punk rock explosion.

Although "Ginny, Ginny" is a fantastic record I feel that the b-side "Dizzy Mama" would have been a better choice as being the a-side. It's got more "feel" to it, and also it's far more catchy - I'm sure the radio stations would have played i. Slade's bassist Jim Lea was the vocalist of this group, joined by his brother Frank and wife Louise Lea. The album that the cover appeared on consisted of mainly Slade songs. This song was originally recorded around the early 80s as a demo. Noddy Holder: Lead vocals and guitar.
