An Evening of Yes Music Plus is a double live album from the English progressive rock band Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, released in October 1993 on Fragile Records. An Evening of Yes Music Plus is a recording of the group's concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, US on 9 September 1989 that was originally broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio program and as a pay-per-view special in the United States.

Recorded live on the final night of the 1989 eman/Howe tour, this two-CD set offers both oldies and improvements upon their new material. You'll probably find yourself listening only to the second CD, as the first CD largely consists of shaky solo medleys. Howe fares the best with delicate renditions of "Mood for a Day" and "The Clap. Anderson's guitar and vocal turn comes off like a coffeehouse gig - not bad, especially when he samples "Teakbois," but not riveting.

DVD/Video, released in 1994. Songs, Tracks Listing. Around the same time as this questionable version of Yes did another album called Big Generator, another band started working on a new album. This band involved original Yes-men Steve Howe, Rick Wakeman, Jon Anderson and Bill Bruford. They were not allowed to use the name 'Yes' so they called themselves 'Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe' instead. In my opinion, this band was the real Yes of the 80's in everything but name. They released a very good self-titled album in 1987 that sounded much more like Yes than Yes at the time.

Besides Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe, the album has also the participation of three other musicians, Tony Levin, who performed bass on their eponymous studio album as well as on the most of the live tour. Still, he fell sick during this tour and was replaced by Jeff Berlin, a bassist very well known by them because he had already worked with some of band’s members. Conclusion: We can consider An Evening Of Yes Music Plus divided into three parts, the solo tracks, the ABWH’s tracks and the Yes’ tracks. The solo tracks are, in my humble opinion, very good and much better than the solo tracks on Fragile. The ABWH’s tracks represents some of the best musical moments of that album and are for me much better performed live than performed on studio.

Excellent concert but only 142 minutes+ for this release, not the near 150 minutes of the original VHS version. The opening sequence is very slightly cut on the DVD but I don't know what other edits have been made.
