Description

A man named James Richards released a cassette that is undeniably The Beatles' mystery album, but his explanation for how he came across it is unbelievable!

The Long Lost is the first studio album by American electronic musician Daedelus and his wife Laura Darlington under the name The Long Lost. It was released on Ninja Tune in 2009.

David had a long infatuation with soul as did I. We were fans of the TV show Soul Train. We weren’t ‘young, gifted and black’ but we sure as hell wanted to make a killer soul album, which was quite insane, but pioneers like the Righteous Brothers were there before us. So The Gouster began with the outrageous brand new, funkafied version of David’s classic ‘John, I’m Only Dancing’, a single he wrote and recorded in 1972, only this time our version sounded like it was played live in a loft party in Harlem and he added (Again) to the title.

A long-lost album by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dion DiMucci will finally come to light when Kickin' Child: The Lost Album 1965 is released by Norton Records on May 12. The 15 songs on the album were recorded during Dion’s time at Columbia Records in sessions that started in spring of 1965 and intensified during September and October with a group called The Wanderers, which included The Belmonts’ Carlo Mastrangelo of drums. Columbia didn’t release the full album but put out a few songs, including the title track, as singles

8, features material recorded live in Malibu, Calif. Young’s longtime collaborator David Briggs produced the original 1976 recordings, according to Pitchfork. The forthcoming version features post-production by John Hanlon. The album includes two never-before-heard tracks, Hawaii and Give Me Strength, as well as early renditions of songs like Pocahontas, Powderfinger and Human Highway.

After a few years apart, they re-met and gradually formed this project. In 2009, the duo released the first studio album, The Long Lost, on Ninja Tune  . Abravanel, David (March 11, 2009). The Long Lost: The Long Lost". Retrieved October 30, 2014.

Alfred and Laura Darlington are husband and wife singer/songwriters and The Long Lost is their first collaboration. It's not the usual Ninja Tune fare, definitely more suited for long rambles through the English countryside than to a night spent digging through crates or nodding along to heavy beats.

The Long Lost Friend book. Response to the projec David Wellington is a contemporary American horror author, best known for his Zombie trilogy as well as his Vampire series and Werewolf series. His books have been translated into eleven langauges and are a global phenomenon. His career began in 2004 when he started serializing his horror fiction online, posting short chapters of a novel three times a week on a friend’s blog. Response to the project was so great that in 2004 Thunder’s Mouth Press approached David Wellington about publishing Monster Island as a print book.
