Gnags - Pa Vej (1973). Great album by Danish band. Wow really cool obscure post! Big thanks for this one! What a cool album I never heard before! bronzeageheadphones. Looking around on the net for the official CD reissue of this excellent debut album, I can't find it although the discography on the official band web site does mention a 1995 CD. Any ideas? The only thing I've been able to come across is the costly Japanese Poor House label reissue, which is a bootleg label notorious for lifting sound off vinyl without bothering to clean it up - your MP3 set sounds much cleaner than their average product.

There they recorded their first album, Paa Vej, which was released in 1973. The band had financed the album out of their own pockets, and they sold the distribution rights to the record producer and musician Johnny Reimar. Struggling to find a record label, Gnags created Genlyd Records in 1974. Ivan Oehlenschaeg Sørensen joined the band in 1973 and Per Christian Frost in 1974. Gnags released their second album, Del af en ring, in 1974. Gnags created Feedback Studios in 1975, from which most of their subsequent works have been recorded.
