Description

Although this was supposed to be a (official and studio) bootleg, in my opinion it's better than what landed on a full Jackass album a few years later.

Assjack is an American heavy metal band led by Hank Williams III and Garrett Bremer. Assjack is one of the three incarnations of Williams' live show, and they started off playing psychobilly material throughout 2008 to 2010, until they evolved into a strictly punk metal band. For Assjack's long-anticipated 2009 self-titled studio debut, only Williams sang and played all instruments on the recording.

Assjack is one of the three features of Hank Williams III's live show, and they started off playing the Hellbilly material throughout 1999-2002, until they evolved in to a strictly hardcore/punk metal band. The band features Hank Williams III on Guitar and Vocals and Gary Lindsey on Vocals. Assjack has had various musicians on all instruments over the years. but, Gary has been consistent on vocals for several years now. Bassist Joe Buck was also a consistent member for many years. However he left the band in 2008 to concentrate on his one man solo show called Joe Buck Yourself.

Notes

From http://tvcasualty.com/hank3/discog_breleases.html
This recording again features Assjack songs collected by III while on tour. Track 3 is now known as "Go Fuck You." Track 8 changed both musically and lyrically over time and became "What You Live For," as featured on Bootleg 3. The artwork was created by Keith Neltner, who also created several Assjack posters and the Bootleg 3 "Donkey Art."

This is a bit more than just a "CDR". The disc itself is nicely printed and has a printed tray inlay and printed insert. It has a matrix and pressing info on the inner ring of the disc. I bought this when Hank was touring for "Lovesick, Broke, & Drifting" with the Legendary Shack Shakers as last minute support replacing Danni Leigh who was unable to make the show. This was the first of many Hank III/Assjack shows that would follow. I believe that Beer, Drugs, Flatt & Scruggs is one song in itself and not two separate tracks. I haven't played it in years so it may show up as 2 separate tracks but they are not intended to be as such.

It is. I fixed it. :) All hail FLAC copies of these long-gone recordings.
