If Thursday somehow had a younger brother who was also related to the bands on Drive-Thru Records, out would pop A Static Lullaby. This five-piece band seemingly rides on the coattails of the emo-hardcore acts like the aforementioned band with the day of the week moniker. However, the vocal work is much stronger than the average hardcore band and more melodious than the run-of-the-mill emo act. Going back and forth between anguished screams and wonderful harmonies showcases this act at their best

And Don't Forget to Breathe. And Don't Forget to Breathe is the debut album by the post-hardcore band A Static Lullaby And Don't Forget to Breath'. This was corrected in a re-release. Music videos were made for the songs "Lipgloss and Letdown" and "The Shooting Star That Destroyed U.

They're called A Static Lullaby, and they sound like Finch and Glassjaw. Every time I put this CD on, I say "wow, this sounds like Finch and Glassjaw". That's not neccessarily a bad thing - I like both of those bands to a degree. The band does have promise, however, and I don't mean to be bashing them this badly as the album does sound good. The artwork for the disc is also spectacular, so they definitely get points for that. I'll probably keep this CD, but I doubt if it will ever get many more spins in my CD player.

I bought this when it came out back in summer 2003. Lots of great albums came out then like Deftones, Glassjaw, Thrice, and this one. I'd appreciate a vinyl reissue honestly. Good times I had jamming this in my car driving around Oklahoma.
