Description

Nuno Bettencourt - Schizophonic (1996).

Nuno Bettencourt - Pursuit Of Happiness (lyrics in description) - Продолжительность: 3:33 crazydragon9114 59 745 .

Schizophonic is the 1997 debut solo album from guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, the lead guitarist in the band Extreme. Schizophonic is Bettencourt's first and, so far, only solo effort after the group disbanded. In face of the then-current musical trends, Bettencourt added an alternative rock edge to his style. Bettencourt wrote with producer Anthony J. Resta, known for his work with Duran Duran around their big comeback.

Not sure if recording was all analog exclusively but would still like to see it on vinyl someday. Seems unlikely to happen but kudos to Bettencourt for this hidden gem. Great melodic sensibilities. The track 'Confrontation' comes to mind. I think it's a record that will be discovered and appreciated years after it's creation. Hard to believe It's already 21 years old!

Schizophonic (Nuno Bettencourt album). Schizophonic is the 1997 debut solo album from guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, the lead guitarist in the band Extreme.

What he can't do is write songs. Whether it's the prog rock epics, the grunge-lite rockers, or the country-rock experiments, they're all stylistic exercises, setting up Nuno for his big solo.
