Boingo Alive is a double live album by Oingo Boingo, released on September 26, 1988.
Boingo is the eighth and final studio album by American new wave band Oingo Boingo. It was the band's only album recorded for their new label, Giant Records, as well as the only album to be released by the band's 1994 5-piece line-up. After 1990's Dark at the End of the Tunnel, frontman Danny Elfman felt he was again "starting to get bored" with the band's musical direction and that a change was necessary to stay active

Richard Elfman founded the theatrical troupe The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo. In 1978 the remnants of the Mystic Knights formed together under lead singer Danny Elfman as the band Oingo Boingo. The hyperkinetic ska-flavored New Wave band is characterized by their manic live performances and eclectic range of songs; Elfman and the band performed for a remarkable twenty years.
Boingo (ボインゴ) is a minor antagonist featured in Stardust Crusaders. Boingo is a young boy Stand User and his Stand is Tohth. As part of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods, he attempts to assassinate the Joestar Group in Egypt alongside his older brother Oingo and later Hol Horse. Boingo is a young child of ordinary build, but his characteristics include an unusually large mouth and a large afro held together by a topless cap, leaving a few stray hair locks.
