Muse is the third studio album by Grace Jones, released on September 4, 1979, by Island Records. Muse was the last album of Jones's disco trilogy recorded with producer Tom Moulton, which began in 1977 with debut Portfolio. As in the case of two previous records, the first side of the album is a continuous medley of four songs, joined by a narrative about someone who has sinned. The second side, however, consists of disco songs with no lyrical relation to one another

Muse (Grace Jones album). The album features a re-recorded version "I'll Find My Way to You", which Jones released three years prior to Muse. It was originally featured in a 1976 Italian movie Quelli della calibro 38 (international title: Colt 38 Special Squad) in which she played a club singer. The original version along with a song called "Again and Again" were included on a single produced by composer Stelvio Cipriani
Inside Story is Grace Jones's eighth studio album, released in 1986, and her first with the Manhattan Records label. The album spawned the hit single "I'm Not Perfect (But I'm Perfect for You)". Having achieved a major success with the comeback album Slave to the Rhythm and the best-selling hits compilation Island Life, both in 1985, Grace Jones delivered her next album the following year. Released under her new contract with Manhattan Records, Inside Story saw Jones working with producer Nile Rodgers of Chic (Jones had previously tried to work with the band during the disco era). The album was recorded at Skyline Studios in New York and post-produced at Atlantic Studios and Sterling Sound.
Though its scope is wide, ranging from Jones' 1977 debut through 1993's number one club single "Sex Drive," The Grace Jones Story - a two-disc compilation released in 2006 - contains nothing from 1985's Slave to the Rhythm, likely due to a licensing issue with the ZTT label. Otherwise, this contains virtually everything a casual fan could want, and it's wise to give Jones' '70s material (much of it solid, straightforward disco) more attention.
Grace Jones (born May 19, 1948) is a Jamaican-American singer, model and actress. Jones secured a record deal with Island Records in 1977, which resulted in a string of dance-club hits. In the late 1970s, she adapted the emerging New Wave music style and adopted a severe, androgynous look with square-cut hair and angular, padded clothes.
