ロフィール: Formed by Dave Dobbyn in 1981. They were wildly successful, winning the "best group" award, "best album" award, and "best male vocalist" (for Dobbyn) at the New Zealand Music Awards two years in a row in 1982 and 1983. After a free concert in downtown Auckland in December 1984 ended in a riot which Dobbyn was arrested for inciting (the charges were later dropped), the band had run its course, and broke up soon after.

Smash is the fourth studio album by French DJ and record producer Martin Solveig, released on 6 June 2011 by Mercury Records. The album's lead single, "Hello" (a collaboration with Canadian band Dragonette), was released on 6 September 2010 and became a worldwide hit, topping the charts in five countries. The first season of the American musical drama television series Smash premiered on February 6, 2012 on NBC and concluded on May 12, 2012, consisting of 15 episodes. Julia Houston (Debra Messing) and Tom Levitt (Christian Borle), a Broadway writing team come up with the idea of a new musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, Bombshell.

DD Smash was a New Zealand pop/rock band formed by Dave Dobbyn after the breakup of Th' Dudes. Members included Dave Dobbyn (guitar, vocals, songwriter), Andrew Clouston (Saxophone), Peter (Rooda) Warren (drums), Rob Guy (Revox) (guitar), both formerly of Lip Service, and Lisle Kinney (bass guitar), formerly of Hello Sailor. Originally formed in New Zealand, the band was resident in Australia for much of its existence.
