Following the demise of Sunnyboys, Jeremy Oxley launched a new band called Chinless Elite. In April 2012, the original line-up of the band played as part of the Dig It Up concert series organised by the Hoodoo Gurus, at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, Australia; the band was listed on the bill as "Kids In Dust". This Australian band successfully combined the new wave energy of the early 80s with the guitar sounds of the 60s. They came on to the Sydney scene in 1980, with a softer sound, a refreshing change from the heavy rock sound that dominated Sydney at the time. They were popular in New South Wales, but were unable to match this elsewhere with only three singles making the lower reaches of the Australian charts, perhaps owing to their inconsistent live performances. By their third album the band had lost its way, and went to the UK to re-assess their career

As with last year's Dig It Up!, the tour has smaller shows in other cities but a festival line-up in Sydney and Melbourne also featuring Manchester's punk veterans The Buzzcocks, Perth's The Stems and American songwriter Peter Case, another punk-era graduate with his bands The Nerves and The Plimsouls. And how is the homework going, brushing up on Mars Needs Guitars? "We have played all of the songs at some point, songs like Bittersweet we play often but some others we don't.

Joss Stone tears up "I Got Love. Diane Birch toys with Stewart on "Just Another Fall" and Alison Krauss adds her solemn harmonies to "Drowning In the Blues. Stewart handles himself well alone on "A Different Man Now" and with a group of backing vocalists on his celebration of his new home, "A New Song For Nashville. The band features other songs off their album Other Ways of Speaking including "Never Be Alone Again," "What's Her Name?" and "Charlie's Song. Crowe's cover of "Ring of Fire" reveals the rough-edge rock that the band builds from while also hinting at their blues, folk and pop influences. The highlight of the evening is a duet with country-pop icon Kris Kristofferson.
