The band was founded in 1995 and issued demos Winter Leafes (1998) and Dimensions Beyond (1999). The band had a 2006 demo called Phoenix Rising, but went into hibernation. Markus Seethaler switched from guitar to bass in 2012. Black Sunset/MDD re-released Darkfall’s Road To Redemption demo in June of 2016, which originally was issued in 2013. The Austria-based band finished working on a new album, which would be released before autumn of 2017 arrived. The new record was entitled At The End Of Times and included ten new tracks, which were again mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio.

DARKFALL is a thrash metal music artist. Winter leaves (1998), Dimensions beyond (1999), Firebreed (2001), Phoenix rising (2006) and the box-set Through fiery times and beyond (2008) are the publications they have released up to now. Their touring program meanwhile encompasses approximately 30 concerts a year performed in Austria as well as abroad, . the Fiery times in Europe - and the Fiery times in Hellas -tour that let them throughout Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Greece.

The Beyond is the second studio album by Swedish post-metal band Cult of Luna, released in 2003. The subject matter is dissent with authorities, similar in some ways to contemporaries Isis' Panopticon. This album sees the rawness of the self-titled debut channeled into a cleaner sounding and more crisply produced sound.
