After one more album on the Bang label, Davis signed with Arista Records in 1981 and scored two more hits, "Cool Night" (which in February 1982 reached on the Hot 100 and on the Adult Contemporary chart) and "'65 Love Affair" (a Top 10 hit on both charts). His Arista debut album spawned a third hit with a remake of "Love or Let Me Be Lonely". The first was in 1986 with Marie Osmond singing "You're Still New to Me"; while the second, in 1988, was a collaboration with Tanya Tucker and Paul Overstreet singing "I Won't Take Less Than Your Love". Davis also wrote "Meet Me in Montana", which his friend Dan Seals and Osmond took to on the Billboard country chart in 1985, and "Bop", a solo country hit for Seals in early 1986. Davis recorded a duet with Marsha Morgan called "Looking for a Light" which was well received regionally in the southeast.
You're Still New to Me". "I Won't Take Less Than Your Love". The Best of Marie Osmond is greatest hits album from country music singer Marie Osmond. It was released September 1990 on Curb Records; the album features the biggest hits of Marie's country music career to date. Because MGM Records owned the rights to the original recording of "Paper Roses" it was not included on this album. Due to this she re-recorded it using the original producer and backup singers in the same Nashville studio as the 1973 version. Included on this album were two new songs titled "Think With Your Heart" and "Like a Hurricane".
Paul Davis)? Marie Osmond. Woke up this morning with you by my side. Thought I was dreamin' with my eyes wide open. I had to touch you and feel you near. Are you really here? I plan to be the one who sticks around. Ooh your love could lift me up above the clouds. I get so high when I'm with you, I may never come down. When forever starts, There's no stopping, no stopping, no stopping your heart.
