Description

Doc West & the Yard Dogs. Doc West & the Yard Dogs. 5. Can't Let You Go. Warner Schwebke.

Feed The Fire Lyrics. We'll feed the fire, we'll beat the pressure ‘til everybody's listening. Fair game Hold that torch, carry the flame Don't let it scorch, don't let it fade It's time to save our name Made it through our darkest times Knew how to read between the lines Once a fairy tale, now the cold hard truth Nothing is absolute Nothing is absolute Is anybody listening? Testing 1, 2, 3. Check; Check; Is anybody listening? We'll feed the fire, we'll beat the pressure ‘til everybody's listening Testing 1, 2, 3. Check; Check; Is anybody listening?

Yard Dogs Road Show is a thirteen-member traveling cabaret that features a unique blend of performances, including vaudeville, burlesque, stage magic, sideshow oddities, and beatnik "hobo poetry. Performances include musical interludes, song and dance numbers, and background music from the Yard Dogs cartoon heavy band. Originally from San Francisco, the Yard Dogs made their first full-fledged national tour in the Spring of 2005, playing 25 shows in 35 days with seven sold-out performances.

The Yard Dogs unique sound is due to the mixture of three eclectic musical instruments and musicians. Charlie Kuchler on accordion and keyboards is a lifelong musician and has performed with . Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco and Jimmy Buffett. He has performed at such venues as the House of Blues, Milwaukee's Summerfest and Ohio's famous Put-In-Bay. He also founded The SW Florida Blues Fest, Creative Coast Concerts and The SW Florida Songwriters Fest. It's hard to believe a graduate from West Point would end up playing a bass instrument called a Rhumba Box, harmonica and a scrub board for a living, but that's just what Brian Travis did. Brian has developed as a musician by accompanying fellow performers on stage at gigs and open jams.

Fuelled by dissent and incisive observations of mankind’s less enticing traits, Guilt Trip have little time for posturing and prefer to go straight for the listener’s jugular. The twelve tracks on Feed the Fire push the point further with their maelstrom of intricate, aggressive electronics and searing vocals. Got it. + add. album.

The Yard Dogs started out seven years earlier as a three piece jug band performing in road houses and dance halls. After many sleepless nights they moved on. For the next year they traveled up and down the west coast, with a trunk full of instruments and props. A 1967 Ford Galaxy 500 was their tour vehicle. One cold night they pulled off Interstate 5 at a place called Dog Creek Road. With the publication of HOBO, Eddy Joe Cotton and the Yard Dogs Road Show began surfacing in the alternative and mainstream media. With that they hit the club circuit, playing venues like the Knitting Factory in Hollywood and NYC, the Bluebird Theater in Denver, Colorado and the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff, Arizona.
