Big Business have begun streaming their new 12″ EP Quadruple Single through Brooklynvegan. The band will release the effort through their own Gold Metal Records tomorrow, July 26th.

Since that album, Big Business have doubled their personnel- one guitarist joined before 2009's Mind the Drift; another jumped on board last year. But on both Mind the Drift and the new Quadruple Single EP, Big Business' mission remained admirably unchanged, its focus squarely on the thudding, juddering roar of that Warren/Willis attack.

A double album (or double record) is an audio album which spans two units of the primary medium in which it is sold, typically records and compact disc. A double album is usually, though not always, released as such because the recording is longer than the capacity of the medium.

Big Business are still anything but a typical rock band. Anyone thinking the addition of a second axeman might place Big Business in ‘typical’ rock band territory still has a lot to learn. and, duh, second of all this is Big Business we’re talking about. It’s still heavy, still weird and Jared Warren still sounds like a water buffalo gargling turpentine, and while there might just be four tracks to be had they’re still more kingly than 99 per cent.
